From the Rigo Team: Why We Built This

This is not a product announcement. This is not a press release. This is a letter.
From the people who built Rigo to the people we built it for.
We have something to say. About the way creators are treated. About what we think is broken. About what we intend to do about it.
Something does not add up
A creator makes something beautiful. A song. A recipe. A lesson. A piece of art that stops someone mid-scroll and makes them feel something real.
That creator puts it on a platform. The platform takes 20%. Sometimes 30%. Sometimes more.
For what?
For hosting a page. For processing a payment. For running some servers.
The creator did the work. The creator built the audience. The creator earned the trust. The creator showed up, day after day, and made something worth paying for.
And the platform takes a third of it. For plumbing.
We have stared at this equation for years. It never made sense. It still does not.
When did infrastructure become more valuable than the art it carries? When did a payment form become worth more than the music, the writing, the teaching, the craft that people actually came for?
It was never about cost. Running a platform in 2025 does not cost 30% of a creator's income. It does not cost 20%. It does not cost 10%.
It costs a fraction of that. The rest is margin. And that margin comes directly out of the pockets of people who create things for a living.
We are on your side
Let us be direct about something.
The value on any creator platform is not the platform. It is the creator. It is always the creator.
The audience did not come for our logo. They came for your work. The payment did not happen because of our checkout flow. It happened because you made something someone could not walk away from.
We know exactly where we stand in that equation. And we are comfortable there.
A platform should be like electricity. Essential. Invisible. Affordable. You do not think about the power company when you turn on the lights. You think about what you are going to create with the light.
That is what we want to be. The quiet thing that works. The infrastructure you never notice because it never gets in the way. The tool that does its job so well that you forget it exists.
Your relationship is with your audience. Not with us. We are just the bridge. And a bridge should not charge a toll that costs more than the journey.
0% platform fee. We mean it.
Here is our model. It is simple enough to fit in one sentence.
Rigo Pro members pay a flat subscription. In return, we take zero platform fee on their earnings. Zero.
Not 2%. Not 5%. Not "starting at" some number that quietly climbs. Zero.
You earn $100. You keep $100. Minus Stripe's standard processing fee, which we do not control and do not mark up. That is it.
We do not take a cut of your income. We do not grow richer when you grow richer. We do not sit between you and your money with our hand out.
Our revenue comes from one place: the subscription you choose to pay. If you decide Rigo Pro is worth it, you pay a flat monthly fee. If you do not, you do not. There is no penalty. No guilt. No degraded experience designed to pressure you into upgrading.
We make money when you decide we have earned it. Not when you have no choice.
How is this possible?
Ten years ago, it was not.
Running a platform used to mean buying servers. Hiring teams of infrastructure engineers. Paying for bandwidth by the gigabyte. Licensing databases. Managing security compliance from scratch. The overhead was real, and it was enormous.
That world is gone.
Serverless computing means we pay for what we use, not for what we might need. AI handles tasks that once required entire departments. Open-source tools have replaced six-figure enterprise licenses. Cloud infrastructure scales automatically and costs a fraction of what it did five years ago.
The technology dividend of the last decade is staggering. And almost nobody is passing it back to the people who matter.
The incumbents built their cost structures in 2015 and never looked back. They kept the old prices even as their costs collapsed. The gap between what it costs to run a platform and what creators are charged has become obscene.
We started from zero. No legacy infrastructure. No bloated cost structure. No shareholders demanding ever-increasing margins from creator income.
We built Rigo with the tools of today, not the assumptions of yesterday. And the tools of today make thin margins not just possible, but sustainable.
The way we think about business
Some companies optimize for extraction. They ask: how much can we charge before people leave?
We ask a different question: how little can we charge and still build something great?
This is not charity. This is a strategy. A long-term one.
When you keep more of your money, you create more. When you create more, your audience grows. When your audience grows, the ecosystem grows. When the ecosystem grows, everyone wins. Including us.
We do not need to take 30% of a creator's income to build a sustainable business. We need millions of creators who trust us enough to stay for a decade.
The math is simple. A small, fair fee from a large, loyal community is worth infinitely more than a large, unfair fee from a community that resents you and leaves the moment something better comes along.
We want to be the platform you never have a reason to leave. Not because we lock you in. Because we never give you a reason to go.
We are building for the next decade
This is year one. And already, the platform does what took incumbents five years and hundreds of millions of dollars to build.
But we are not done.
Every quarter, infrastructure gets cheaper. AI gets more capable. The tools we use to build Rigo get better and less expensive. And every single efficiency gain goes back to you.
More features. Lower costs. Better tools. Not someday. Continuously.
We will keep building. Analytics that help you understand your audience. Tools that help you grow. Features that save you time. Integrations that make your workflow seamless.
And we will do it at prices that make the industry uncomfortable.
Because we do not believe in charging you more as we deliver more. We believe in delivering more as our costs go down. The savings are yours. They were always yours.
You focus on creating. We handle the rest.
Here is what we know to be true.
The world does not need another platform that treats creators as a revenue source. The world needs a platform that treats creators as the reason it exists.
You are not our product. You are not our content. You are not our "creator economy metrics" in a pitch deck.
You are the person who stays up late perfecting something. Who pours yourself into work that matters. Who builds an audience one genuine connection at a time.
You deserve infrastructure that respects that. Pricing that reflects that. A partner that believes in that.
We are not here to extract from your success. We are here to enable it. Quietly. Affordably. For as long as you will have us.
Our name is Rigo. It means to thrive.
That is not a brand exercise. It is a promise.
You thrive. We thrive. Together.
This is a letter, not a conclusion. We will keep building, keep lowering costs, keep standing on the side of the people who create. If you believe in what we are building, join us. Not as a user. As a partner.
Let's thrive.
