Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 10, 2026

These terms are provided as a general framework. Please consult legal counsel for specific questions regarding your use of the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Rigo ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by ARCHON LAB LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, at rigo.bio. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ARCHON LAB LLC (doing business as Rigo) governing your use of the Platform and all related services. By creating an account, making a payment, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

  • "Creator" refers to a registered user who creates a tip page to receive tips and subscriptions from Supporters.
  • "Supporter" refers to any individual who sends a tip or subscribes to a Creator through the Platform, regardless of whether they have a registered account.
  • "Tip" refers to a one-time voluntary payment made by a Supporter to a Creator.
  • "Subscription" refers to a recurring payment arrangement where a Supporter makes regular payments to a Creator on a monthly or yearly basis.
  • "Tip Page" refers to a Creator's personalized payment page hosted on the Platform (e.g., rigo.bio/u/handle).
  • "Reward" refers to digital content that a Creator may offer to Supporters on their thank-you page after a tip or subscription, including display images, downloadable files, redirect links, and custom thank-you messages.
  • "Platform Fee" refers to the percentage fee charged by Rigo on each transaction processed through the Platform.
  • "Pro Plan" refers to Rigo's premium subscription tier offering reduced fees and additional features.
  • "Stripe Connect" refers to Stripe's platform payment infrastructure used by Rigo. Creators are onboarded as Standard connected accounts, meaning each Creator has their own Stripe account and is the merchant of record for payments they receive.
  • "Merchant of Record" refers to the entity that is the seller in a payment transaction and bears responsibility for chargebacks, disputes, and refunds. For tips and Creator-to-Supporter subscriptions processed through the Platform, the Creator (not Rigo) is the merchant of record.

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform as a Supporter, you must be at least 13 years of age. To register as a Creator and receive payouts, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Creators must also complete identity verification and payment onboarding through our payment processor, Stripe.

4. Platform Services

Rigo provides a platform that enables Creators to:

  • Create personalized tip pages at rigo.bio/u/{handle} to receive tips and subscriptions
  • Accept one-time tips and recurring subscriptions from Supporters
  • Set customizable preset tip amounts and allow custom tip values
  • Share tip pages via direct links, automatically generated QR codes, and social media integrations
  • Offer digital Rewards to Supporters on personalized thank-you pages, including display images, downloadable files, redirect links, and custom messages
  • Display affiliate product links (including Amazon Associates products) on tip pages
  • Access analytics dashboards to track tips, subscriptions, and supporter activity
  • Customize tip page templates, branding, and social links

Rigo acts as a technology platform connecting Creators and Supporters. Creators receive payments through their own Stripe accounts via Stripe Connect Standard. Rigo is not the merchant of record for tips or Creator-to-Supporter subscriptions — each Creator is independently responsible for their payment transactions, including any disputes, chargebacks, or refunds. Creators have full access to the Stripe Dashboard to manage their payments, payouts, and disputes.

5. Fees and Payments

Platform Fees

  • Rigo Free: A platform fee of 2% is applied to each transaction processed through the Platform.
  • Rigo Pro: Available for $4.99 per month or $47.88 per year. Pro users pay 0% platform fee on all transactions and receive access to additional features including full analytics, pro templates, and priority support. Rigo reserves the right to change Pro subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.

Payment Processing Fees

In addition to Rigo's platform fees, standard payment processing fees are charged by Stripe. These fees vary by payment method and region and are determined by Stripe's pricing. For direct charges on a Creator's connected account, Stripe processing fees are paid by the Creator's account, not by Rigo. Rigo does not control or receive any portion of Stripe's processing fees.

Payment Methods

The payment methods available to Supporters (such as credit/debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers, and regional payment methods) are determined by each Creator's Stripe account configuration, country, and Stripe's supported payment methods. Rigo does not control which payment methods are available for any given transaction.

Payouts

Creator payouts are processed through Stripe Connect Standard according to Stripe's payout schedule. Payments are made directly on the Creator's Stripe account and Rigo never holds these funds. Payout timing and methods are governed by Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and the Creator's own Stripe Dashboard settings.

6. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

Creator Subscriptions (Rigo Pro)

Rigo Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Pro features until the period ends. If you are unsatisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a refund by contacting us at support@rigo.bio. Rigo processes Pro subscription refunds through Stripe.

When a Creator upgrades to Pro, the 0% platform fee is applied to all existing active payment links and supporter subscriptions. When a Creator downgrades or their Pro subscription ends, the standard 2% platform fee is restored to all active payment links and supporter subscriptions.

Supporter Subscriptions to Creators

Recurring subscriptions from Supporters to Creators are automatically charged on a monthly or yearly basis. Supporters may cancel their subscriptions at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Rigo does not issue refunds for Supporter subscriptions to Creators. Because the Creator is the merchant of record, any refund requests must be directed to the Creator, who may issue refunds at their discretion through their Stripe Dashboard.

If a recurring payment fails, the subscription enters a past-due status. Stripe will automatically retry the payment according to its retry schedule. If the payment continues to fail, the subscription may be canceled. Supporters will receive email notification of failed payment attempts.

7. Creator Responsibilities

As a Creator on the Platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and tip page
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including tax reporting obligations for income received through the Platform. As a Stripe Connect Standard account holder, you are responsible for your own tax reporting and may manage tax settings (including 1099 forms in the United States) through your Stripe Dashboard
  • Fulfill any Rewards, downloads, or promises made to Supporters on your tip page. Digital Rewards (images, files, redirect links) are delivered automatically through the thank-you page — you are responsible for ensuring all Reward content is legal, non-infringing, and accurately described
  • Not use the Platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purposes
  • Maintain compliance with Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and acceptable use policies
  • Ensure that any files you upload (avatars, tip page images, thank-you media, downloadable files) comply with our content policies described in Section 10 (User-Generated Content) and do not contain malware, prohibited content, or material that infringes on third-party rights
  • If using affiliate links (e.g., Amazon Associates), comply with the applicable affiliate program's terms and FTC disclosure requirements
  • Understand that as a Stripe Connect Standard account holder, you are the merchant of record for all tips and subscriptions you receive. This means you are directly responsible for chargebacks, disputes, and any refunds
  • Respond to disputes and chargebacks through your Stripe Dashboard in a timely manner, providing requested evidence. Stripe manages the dispute process; Rigo does not intervene in or resolve payment disputes on your behalf
  • Manage your Stripe account settings, payout schedule, and tax reporting through your full-access Stripe Dashboard

8. Supporter Responsibilities

As a Supporter, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Tips are voluntary, non-refundable payments. Rigo does not process refunds for tips. If you believe a charge was unauthorized or made in error, you may contact the Creator directly (who may issue a refund through their Stripe account) or initiate a dispute through your card issuer. Chargebacks are subject to Stripe's dispute resolution process
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have authorization to use the payment method provided
  • After completing a tip or subscription, you may be presented with an optional consent form on the thank-you page. Sharing your name and email with the Creator requires your explicit opt-in consent — both default to "do not share." You may consent to share your name and email independently of each other, and you may edit the display name and email shown to the Creator before submitting
  • Anonymous tipping is available — you are not required to create an account or provide identifying information to send a tip
  • Filing fraudulent chargebacks or disputes may result in permanent suspension of your ability to use the Platform. Chargebacks are filed against the Creator's Stripe account (not Rigo), and disputes are resolved through Stripe's dispute resolution process

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, code, branding, tip page templates, and all related intellectual property, is owned by ARCHON LAB LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our express written permission.

Creators retain full ownership of all content they upload or create on the Platform, including profile information, images, reward files, and tip page customizations. By using the Platform, Creators grant Rigo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute their content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and providing its services.

10. User-Generated Content and File Uploads

Permitted Uploads

Creators may upload the following types of content through the Platform:

  • Avatars: Profile images (maximum 5 MB)
  • Tip page images: Images displayed on tip option cards
  • Thank-you media: Images displayed on thank-you pages as Rewards (maximum 20 MB)
  • Downloadable files: Files offered as Rewards to Supporters (maximum 5 MB)

Content Storage

Uploaded content is stored on third-party infrastructure (Vercel Blob Storage). Images and avatars are publicly accessible via CDN URLs. Downloadable Reward files are served through access-controlled URLs. Rigo does not guarantee perpetual hosting of uploaded content — content may be removed upon account termination or deactivation.

Prohibited Content and File Types

You may not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, infringing on intellectual property rights, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful. The following file types are blocked from upload: executable files (.exe, .msi, .app, .dmg), installer packages (.deb, .rpm), scripts (.sh, .bat, .cmd, .ps1, .vbs, .js), Java archives (.jar), and macro-enabled documents (.xlsm, .docm, .pptm).

Content Removal

Rigo reserves the right to remove any uploaded content that violates these Terms, infringes on intellectual property rights, or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@rigo.bio with a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the infringing content, and your contact information.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with and relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and conditions:

  • Stripe: All payment processing, including tips, subscriptions, and Creator payouts, is handled by Stripe. Rigo uses Stripe Connect Standard, meaning each Creator has their own Stripe account with full dashboard access for managing payments, payouts, disputes, and refunds. By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Creators using Stripe Connect are additionally bound by Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and are independently responsible for their Stripe account compliance.
  • Vercel: The Platform is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. User-uploaded files (avatars, images, downloadable files) are stored on Vercel Blob Storage. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are used for aggregated, privacy-focused performance monitoring. Vercel's services are governed by Vercel's Terms of Service.
  • Resend: Transactional emails (tip confirmations, subscription receipts, payment failure notifications, and Creator thank-you messages) are delivered through Resend's email service. Resend's services are governed by Resend's Privacy Policy.
  • Google and GitHub: Account creation and authentication are provided through Google and GitHub OAuth services. By signing in with these providers, you agree to their respective terms of service. Rigo receives only your name, email address, and profile image from these providers for authentication purposes.
  • Amazon Associates: If a Creator enables affiliate product links, those links are governed by Amazon's Associates Program Operating Agreement. Rigo is not responsible for affiliate commissions or Amazon's program terms.

Rigo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those services' respective terms.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform for any of the following purposes:

  • Fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illegal financial activity
  • Soliciting tips or subscriptions for illegal goods, services, or activities
  • Offering, distributing, or promoting adult content and services through the Platform, including but not limited to nudity, explicit sexual acts, subscriber-only nude images, and adult audio or video live chat services
  • Impersonating another person, Creator, or entity
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users of the Platform
  • Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Platform's fees, security features, or technical limitations
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without authorization
  • Creating misleading tip pages or making false promises regarding Rewards or services
  • Uploading malicious files, malware, or harmful code through the Reward or file upload system
  • Self-tipping or artificially inflating tip counts or revenue metrics
  • Infringing upon or misappropriating the intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets
  • Distributing, sharing, or offering access to copyright-infringing content, such as leaked music albums, pirated software, unauthorized copies of books, films, or other copyrighted works
  • Creating, sharing, or promoting content that engages in, encourages, promotes, or celebrates unlawful violence or hate speech directed at any group or individual based on race, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, or any other immutable characteristic
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or any other harmful code through the Platform

13. Termination and Suspension

Rigo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or the Platform, or for any other reason.

Upon termination of a Creator account, any pending payouts will be processed according to Stripe's standard payout schedule, subject to any holds related to disputes or chargebacks. Rigo is not responsible for funds held or delayed by Stripe following account termination. Uploaded content stored on Vercel Blob Storage will be deleted within 30 days of account termination.

Account Deactivation and Deletion

You may deactivate your account at any time by disabling all payment links from your Tip Settings page, which prevents new tips while preserving your payment history. Creators may also disconnect or delete their Stripe connected account directly through the Stripe Dashboard.

For full account and data deletion, contact us at support@rigo.bio. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to completion of any pending transactions and resolution of any outstanding disputes. Transaction records may be retained as required by tax and regulatory obligations (see our Privacy Policy for data retention details).

Repeat Violator Policy

Rigo enforces a graduated response to violations of these Terms, including violations of the Prohibited Conduct provisions in Section 12:

  1. First violation: A written warning notice will be sent to the email address associated with your account, identifying the violation and required corrective action.
  2. Second violation: Temporary suspension of your account for seven (7) days and demonetization of all active payment links during the suspension period.
  3. Third violation: Permanent termination of your account and removal of all associated content, payment links, and Stripe Connect integration.

Rigo reserves the right to skip any step in this graduated process and proceed directly to temporary suspension or permanent termination in cases of severe violations, including but not limited to illegal activity, fraud, content that endangers the safety of others, or violations that expose Rigo or its payment processors to significant legal or financial risk.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Rigo does not guarantee that Creators will receive any particular amount of tips or subscriptions. The Platform is a tool for facilitating voluntary payments — earnings depend entirely on Supporters' voluntary decisions.

Rigo is not the merchant of record for tips or Creator-to-Supporter subscriptions and is not liable for chargebacks, disputes, refunds, or negative balances on Creator Stripe accounts. Creators bear full responsibility for payment disputes as the merchant of record under Stripe Connect Standard. Stripe handles fraud and dispute losses in accordance with its own policies.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARCHON LAB LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (C) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM; OR (D) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ARCHON LAB LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you create or submit through the Platform.

16. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Delaware.

Payment disputes and chargebacks: Because Creators are the merchant of record under Stripe Connect Standard, all payment disputes (including chargebacks) are filed against the Creator's Stripe account. Creators are responsible for responding to disputes through their Stripe Dashboard. Stripe manages the dispute resolution process. Rigo does not intervene in, arbitrate, or resolve payment disputes between Supporters and Creators.

Non-payment disputes: For disputes between Creators and Supporters regarding unfulfilled Rewards or service issues, Rigo may assist in facilitation but is not obligated to mediate or resolve such disputes.

17. Modifications to Terms

Rigo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also send email notifications to registered users.

Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
