Connecting Payments

Set up Stripe Connect to receive tips and payouts.


Rigo uses Stripe Connect to process payments. Tips go to your Stripe balance and are paid out to your bank account on your schedule — Rigo never holds your money.

Before You Start

Make sure you've set your country in your profile settings. Stripe needs this to determine which verification steps and payout options are available to you.

Setting Up Stripe Connect

  1. Go to your Settings page in the dashboard.
  2. Click the Connect button under Payment Settings.
  3. Complete Stripe's onboarding form, which includes:
    • Verifying your identity (name, date of birth, address)
    • Adding your bank account or debit card for payouts
    • Agreeing to Stripe's terms of service

The process is typically instant, though Stripe may request additional verification in some cases. If more information is needed, you'll see a banner in your dashboard and Stripe will contact you directly.

Account Status

After connecting, your Settings page shows your account status:

StatusWhat it means
Setup RequiredYou haven't started or haven't finished the Stripe onboarding process.
ActiveYour account is fully set up and ready to receive payments.

You'll also see indicators for:

  • Payments enabled — whether your account can accept tips
  • Payouts enabled — whether your account can receive bank transfers

If either is disabled, go to your Settings page to check what's needed to complete setup.

Managing Your Payments

Once connected, you have access to several payment management tools:

  • Connect Dashboard — View your account balance, complete payment history, and payout schedule.
  • Payment Settings — Configure your payout preferences (frequency, minimum amount, etc.).

All of these are available from your dashboard sidebar.
