Messages

Get direct messages from supporters who tip you and reply from your inbox.


Messages let supporters who tip you send you a direct message, and let you reply from your dashboard. Conversations are 1-on-1 between you and the supporter.

How Supporters Reach You

Supporters can start a conversation with you from two places:

  • Your tip page — A "Message creator" entry on rigo.bio/your-handle lets supporters open a conversation.
  • Thank-you page — After someone tips you, the thank-you page also gives them an entry point to message you.

Supporters sign in to send a message, and their conversations show up in their own inbox.

Your Inbox

Your inbox lives at Dashboard → Inbox. From there you can:

  • See every conversation you have with supporters.
  • Read and reply to messages.
  • See whether the other person is online (when they've opted in to share their presence).

Closing and Reopening Conversations

In the conversation header, you'll see a Close button. Closing a conversation freezes it — neither side can send new messages until you reopen it. Use Reopen to allow new messages again.

Blocking a Supporter

If a supporter is sending unwanted messages, open the conversation menu and choose Block user. You won't receive any further messages from them.

Turning Messages On or Off

Messages are on by default for every Rigo creator. To turn them off, go to Dashboard → Settings → Messaging and switch the toggle. While off, supporters won't see the "Message creator" entry on your tip page or thank-you page.

You can also control whether your online status is visible to supporters from the same settings area.
