How Fees Work
Rigo charges 2% per tip. Here's exactly how fees work.
Simple Pricing
Rigo charges 2% on every tip. Payment processing fees are charged separately by Stripe and don't go to Rigo.
The same 2% Rigo fee applies whether it's a one-time tip, a recurring subscription, or a custom amount. The fee is handled automatically — you don't need to do anything.
Payment Processing Fees
Rigo uses Stripe to process payments. Stripe charges its own processing fee, which is separate from Rigo's 2%.
Stripe's fee varies depending on:
- The payment method (credit card, digital wallet, etc.)
- The supporter's country
- The currency used
This is the same processing fee that every online platform pays — it's not something unique to Rigo. You can see the exact breakdown of every payment in your Connect Dashboard.
Rigo's 2% fee and Stripe's processing fee are two separate things. Rigo's fee is what we charge to run the platform. Stripe's fee is what they charge to handle the actual payment.
Example
Here's what happens when someone tips you $10:
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| Tip amount | $10.00 |
| Stripe processing fee* | -$0.59 |
| Rigo platform fee (2%) | -$0.20 |
| You receive | ~$9.21 |
*Stripe's processing fee varies by payment method and country. This example shows typical US card processing.
The exact amount deposited to your bank account depends on Stripe's processing fee for that specific payment. You can see the precise breakdown for every tip in your Connect Dashboard.
With Rigo Pro
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| Tip amount | $10.00 |
| Stripe processing fee* | -$0.59 |
| Rigo platform fee (0%) | -$0.00 |
| You receive | ~$9.41 |
Pro saves you $0.20 on every $10 tip. Over 100 tips, that's $20 back in your pocket.
How We Compare
Rigo charges significantly less than most creator platforms, which typically charge 5–30% platform fees on top of payment processing.
